sunshine mylk ❤️
It’s so cold here today so we are nestling in with some warm sunshine ‘mylk’ aka.. turmeric latte. Flynn has this most nights before bed and loves it! Turmeric is an amazing anti inflammatory and antioxidant, and paired with the good fats of coconut milk makes a delicious, grounding and nourishing drink for any age!
Recipe (serves one adult and one child)
300ml coconut milk (can use any milk you like but I’d avoid cow milk for kids under 1)
1 tsp turmeric (I used a fermented paste, you can use powder though!)
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste
Pinch black pepper (to activate the curcumin in the turmeric)
Optional - honey to taste (avoid for kids under 1 year)
Place all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat and stir until mylk is warm!
